Since the last update, we have been busy working on 6 new reborns. The first two were made for a Easter reborn swap for one of the reborn forums we belong to. We spent several months working on Eden Rose (Eden by Marissa May) and Caitlyn (Caitlyn by Jackie Gwin). I worked on Eden Rose for a woman living in Magna, Utah while Robin worked on Caitlyn for a fellow reborner that lives in Binghamton, New York.
As you can see in Eden Rose's montage, she has the dark complexion and thick black hair of a Native American baby. No matter how HARD I tried giving her a porcline complexion and blonde hair, she refused to have anything but the rich dark complexion and dark hair she tuned out with. I guess I should have listened to Eden all along because as it turned out the woman who recieved Eden Rose is a Native American and she LOVES Eden's dark complexion and thick black hair. I gave Eden Rose her name because she LOVED spending time in our flower gardens.
Each of their individual videos contain the same pictures. The ONLY difference between them is that the FIRST ones have MUSIC. The SECOND ones have NO MUSIC.

Caitlyn was much easier in doing what Robin wanted. As you can see in her montage, her skin tones match perfectly with her red hair. Also in her montage, you notice that Caitlyn LOVES butterflys and refused anything that did not have butterflys on it.
Our next 2 Little One's we spent weeks on are Charmin Lou (Moby by Marissa May) and Jessie Lee (Sera by Marissa May). We made Charmin Lou for Grandma Helen and Jessie Lee for Aunt Laura who both live in Tulsa Oklahoma. I painted Jessie Lee while Robin rooted her hair and Robin painted Charmin Lou while I rooted her hair. Charmin Lou ended up being Robins problem child. No matter what Robin tried to get Charmin's skin tone to be peaches and cream, it just would not turn out. After about 20 tries, Robin gave up and left her the way she was. Charmin Lee didn't turn out the way Robin was planning, but she turned out ok. Grandma Helen loves her just the way she is
Jessie was easy going and turned out the way I wanted her to. She was so easy going that she slept through everything I did to her. She never woke up or cried even when I put her in the oven to bake. Aunt Laura loves her too and she reports that Jessie Lee is still sleeping and quiet.

Our latest 2 Little One's are Liberty Star (Ember by Tasha Edenholm)and Justice Pride (Tanner by Tasha Edenholm). As you can tell by their montage (and names) they were for the 4th of July reborn twin swap. I spent HOURS painting Liberty while Robin spent HOURS painting Justice. We spent even more time rooting their hair and finding all of their many adorable clothes and acessories. Because of all of the work and time we put into these two, they quickly became our favorite reborns we have completed. We were SO SAD to box them up and ship them to Maine.
Because of a situation we get the twins back. We are SO EXCITED to get them back!!! We decided we are going to have them as keepers. We recieved confirmation that they are on their way back home.
We are still working on finishing 2 Little One's and we will start another one soon. Keep checking back for updates.
